A. If your baby has a 101°F fever and you've given 0.5 ml of paracetamol, there are a few additional steps you can take to help her feel more comfortable. Ensure she stays hydrated by offering small sips of water or breast milk/formula. You can also keep her in a cool room, dressed in lightweight clothing to help regulate her body temperature. A lukewarm sponge bath can also help reduce the fever. Avoid using cold water or ice, as this may make her uncomfortable. Monitor her fever regularly, and if it persists or worsens, or if she shows signs of discomfort, weakness, or difficulty breathing, consult your pediatrician for further guidance.
