A. It is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles. You have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100F or more. The warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal. it is due to teething. there is itching, pain, drooling of saliva, swelling in the gums, oral finger insertion, irritability and crying during the teething process. with the help of your fingers you can press the gums of the child to decrease the pain as well as you can give a pacifier but iit should be clean. you can give a cold cotton cloth to bite and press between the gums the child is crying due to pain then you can give paracetamol which will also help in decreasing the pain

A. hi mam,it is normal during teething. so , don't worry. please give massage with clean finger on sore gums of your child. or you can provide any good brand silicone teether like Babyhug teether to chew which will help to reduce teething pain.
