My baby is currently 9 months old. His ped adviced him for PEGCLEAR laxative for 3 months 8 ml per day. I read it's for 2 years and above. I am worried now. Is it safe??

A. But why do you have to give laxative in that to such a heavy amount to a nine month old child and that regularly there is no need to do so if there is a problem of constipation you can put us a suppository into the anal region of the child which will help in clearing the system but mostly you should try to give more of fibres and fluids to regulate the digestion and easy motion of your child
