A. How old is your baby? Babies when they experience growth spurts they usually go through lot of changes in their body and would want mother's comfort. hence they will demand for more frequent feeds and also want to be around mother. Also it is a complete MYTH that parents if they keep babies in their lap or keep holding them, babies will get a bad habit of always wanting to be held. This is not at all true. Is it wrong for the baby to ask for his/her mother's comfort when in need. When babies are going through growth spurts or some changes like new activities of teething, crawling, etc they want mom's comfort.

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica dropgus containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal bflockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
