A. It's common for babies to experience some difficulty when rolling over, especially as they are still learning to coordinate their movements. Here are a few tips to help your baby with rolling over: 1. **Provide ample floor time:** Encourage your baby to spend plenty of time on the floor during supervised play. This helps strengthen the muscles needed for rolling over and other motor skills. 2. **Offer tummy time:** Tummy time helps build neck, shoulder, and arm strength, which are essential for rolling over. Start with short sessions of tummy time several times a day and gradually increase the duration as your baby becomes more comfortable. 3. **Use supportive aids:** Place rolled-up blankets or towels under your baby's arms to provide support and help them get used to the rolling motion. Avoid using pillows or cushions, as they can pose a suffocation risk. 4. **Encourage reaching:** Place toys or objects just out of reach to encourage your baby to reach and grasp, which can help improve their coordination and strengthen their muscles. 5. **Be patient:** Rolling over is a developmental milestone that takes time for babies to master. Be patient and supportive as your baby learns and grows. If you notice that your baby consistently struggles with rolling over or if you have concerns about their development, consider discussing it with their pediatrician for further evaluation and guidance.
