Q.
My baby is 8 months old. he sufferes wid cold and cough frequently. What pecautions should I take?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be ugsed in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .v
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

U Should get an allergy test done for your child I think if your child is frequently suffering with the same issue that your child may be having some kind of analogy could be weather change temperature most common is dust so once you get it checked you can go ahead with a proper or treatment for that
