A. Crawling is a milestone that some babies reach early and some later. In most cases no need for worry even if a baby crawls by the end of 12 months, and other activities are age appropriate. Simple exercises like stretching the legs, supporting in a sitting position, or gently pushing the baby when on all fours, providing a rolled-up blanket under the tummy when on all fours and enticing them to move towards objects that kindle their curiosity like phones, mirrors, tunnels, cats and dogs, food, water spill etc is sufficient to initiate crawling. Provide encouragement and motivation to crawl and help baby discover motor and physical development. You may also mimic crawling moves for your baby. Remove diaper and other restrictive clothing for some time in a day. Baby massage is one of the best ways to calm and soothe your baby and also strengthen your baby's muscles. Massage has health benefits for your baby such as  improving blood circulation, weight gain, digestion and also easing teething woes for your baby. Massaging your baby is an excellent way of expressing your love and care, and it also helps you to bond with your baby.
