A. It's not uncommon for babies to develop at different rates, but it's always a good idea to check in with your pediatrician if you have concerns. Here are a few things you can do to help your son with sitting and crawling:
1. **Tummy Time**: Ensure he gets plenty of tummy time each day to strengthen his neck, shoulders, arms, and core muscles.
2. **Encourage Sitting**: Support him in a sitting position with pillows or place him in a baby seat. Practice sitting him up and giving him toys to reach for.
3. **Toys and Incentives**: Place toys slightly out of his reach to encourage him to move and reach for them.
4. **Floor Time**: Give him ample time on the floor to explore and move around.
If he still isn't showing signs of sitting or crawling after trying these methods, or if you notice other developmental delays, consult with your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues and to get tailored advice.
