Q.

my baby is 8 days old, and she was having alot hiccups so I gave her 2.5 ml of gripe water and after having gripe water she is having loose motions so please suggest what should I do to stop it quickly.

A. Don’t worry make sure the baby is not sucking too fast as baby swallow a lot of air which leads to hiccups and no need to give gripe water to the vaby abd keep head little elevated while feeding

A. gripes water is not recommended to be given or any janum ghutti to baby.. exclusively breast feeding recommended for six months.. hiccups are common and stop of their own in some time.. keep the baby in burping position and gently rub the baby back head for some time.. you can give small feeds to stop hiccups..
