my baby is 72 days old his birth weight is 3.3 kg and his weight now is 4.2 kg is it normal? he is completely on formula feed .

A. Dear mum, though weight of 4.2 kg is a normal weight for 72 days old baby, weight gain has been slightly on the lower side. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.
