my baby is 7 years old iugr baby born 7.95 gms only not speak properly hearing test behra done twice one report is ok when she was almost 2 years but another report showing problem done the test when she was 5 years she speaks when we try in front of her but doesn't respond when we are away from her dj sounds. recognise clouds crackers recognise we are little confused

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with theyr child so that he can learn to spreak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
