You can also give small amounts of ORS (oral rehydration solution) to prevent dehydration. Continue feeding solid foods like mashed banana, rice cereal, moong dal water, and boiled apple, which help firm stools. Avoid juices and sugary foods. Watch for signs of dehydration such as dry mouth, sunken eyes, or reduced urine output. If the loose motions persist for more than 2 days, or if your baby has fever, blood in stool, or shows signs of weakness, consult your pediatrician immediately.
