my baby is 7 months i introduced vegetable khichdi w/o salt when he was 6 months old now when I put a little bit salt in khichdi as advised by my doctor he doesn't eat he eats khichdi w/o salt only is it a problem my doc said introduce salt otherwise he wil not develop habit of salt

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, until 1 year, the salt requirements for babies are negligible. so, it is best to avoid adding salt to baby's food till 1 year. salt will be a burden on the tiny kidney's of your baby.
