A. Overtired child also dont sleep for 7 -8 month babies wake up window should not exceed more than 3 hours for daytime nap should be 2-3 and nap duration 1-2 hours , make a sleep schedule and stick to it. It take time to build schedule. Make room pitched dark, no sound . If baby is breastfeeded feed to sleep baby , also holding babies help them to sleep ( baby wearing) . Also check other factors like baby should not feel too warm or cold. I am telling you from my experience as well as from consultation after a certified sleep adivsor

A. will improve with increasing age of the child sleeping pattern in small children changes from time to time but will improve with increasing age of the child you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem or breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into. if the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern of the child as it always improve with time you can increase the physical activity during the daytime as well as avoid more sleeping time during the day time and this will help in improving the night time sleeping time

A. You Do not make your child sleep for an entire day one time and then make your child sleep straight at night that’s what is going to help because I think your child is not sleeping properly during the daytime not getting exhausted and tired which is why your child is troubling you during the night time as well
