Q.
my baby is 6th month old. from today's evening we noticed 100.⁰ f temperature so we gave him 2ml. of paracetamol liquid. now temperature is a bit low but what can else i can do at home like massage etc. to reducing his temperature. please kindly suggest me doctor 🙏

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hello. don't do massage in fever.. keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately. give pcm drops in proper dose. Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed. Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body. Give soft easy to digest diet. maintain proper hygein.

"Using a cold compress may help a baby with a fever to feel more comfortable and may help a little to bring down the fever as well," You can make a cold compress by soaking a washcloth in cool water and pressing it to your baby's forehead, wrists, or groin.
