Q.

My baby is 6months 2days old. His birth weight was 3.3 and current weight is 6.7. I started to give rice water and ragi liquid form once in a day. Can I also give fruits/ vegetables. what fruits /vegetables can I give and what should be the quantity?

A. Yes you can start with mashed banana and steamed apple to the baby and introduce one food at a time and in vegetables bottle gourd sponge carrots can ge introduced but follow same rule one vegetable at a time

A. Hello dear parent! Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, ragi in the diet. You can start giving your baby one new food at a time in small quantities to check the suitability and for better assimilation. Give sips of water in between meals. Continue breastfeeding your baby. Good luck and take care.
