Q.

my baby is 6month old. since two and three days he is passing the stool 3 to 4 times a day and that is also very watery please suggest what to do.

A. my baby is 5 months 19 days.since 4 -5 days he is passing stools 3-4 Times,some watery and semi solid also.some jaag is also coming in his stools. my nearby dr say because of hot weather (Delhi)its happening only.its ok..dr says like this,but me as a mom, i m very worry about this condition,when ever he drink milk he will pass stools. he is on BM and formula milk. please sir please suggest me what should I do.

A. if you are giving only breastfeeding then there is a possibility that slightly loose to semi solid stool may be present intermittently. if you see that it is totally watery and also you are giving outside milk then it is advisable to get the child examined by the doctor to rule out any digestion problem or anfy infection. need of probiotics (sachet superflora gg once a day can be given) and zinc has to be evaluated. in the meantime kindly continue breastfeeding to prevexnt dehydration. you can give ors also if water loss is more if there is blood in the stool then kindly meet the doctor immediately because it can be dysentery also.

A. Teething Put possibility happening with your child because this is one of the most common reasons that I can think of suggesting you right now because when a child is having the phase when they’re having their teeth this kind of thing is normally seen with kids
