My baby is 6month and 4 days old and she recently started solids but due to severe cough and cold she is not take food properly and feed as well due to which she lost 200gms weight. Is it normal or should I be concerned?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy10 months agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inshalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
