Q.

My baby is 6 months old now. For past 2 weeks he is having 100.4 temperature. Two times I have already given him antibiotics course. Again today he has fever. Is it sign of something worrisome

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having feverx armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medxicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. Hello dear parent! This definitely needs a personal medical evaluation. Please avoid over-the-counter medication. Consult your paediatrician for a personal diagnosis and seek further treatment. Keep Babyhug medicine dropper handy
