At that time you can also start giving water but it is always preferable to avoid using salt sugar and honey till 1 year.
Continue breastfeeding the baby but you should make sure that you are either giving breastfeed or formula Milk but not animal milk before 1 year.
You can give rice porridge Ragi porridge mashed soft fruits like Banana Chiku Apple Puree and other seasonal fruits like mangoes, watermelons etc.

Initially you can try to make the food which is bit into liquid form which can be easily taken by the baby. Once the baby gets the taste of it you can keep the consistency as per your choice. Offer him a spoon of water after every 3-4 spoon of your porridge.
