Q.

my baby is 6 month old.. today i introduced him carrot puree as first solid food.. but he didn't even open his mouth to eat. I'm worried what to start with. so that my baby eats happily... other than that my paediatrician recommended me to start with cereal -< pulses -< veg -< fruits but instead i started with veg.. is it correct or not please help me and guide me regarding this...

A. As carrot purée can be bland so you can start with mashed banana or apple purée the baby will definitely like it and in porridge ragi porridge or sooji Upma can be given introduce one food at a time

A. Actually Da and rice is more comfortable when you give their water to the child with salt and spices they enjoy it’s okay if you started with carrot also it’s not a problem just add salt and make it flavour and many offer and keep the consistency liquid to begin with
