A. Vaccines should be administered at the right time. Please consult your doctor or clinic or vaccination center as to whether the vaccination could be postponed to a later date and if yes, for how long? a) Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine to prevent typhoid fever is given after 6 months of age. b) Trivalent Influenza Vaccine : first dose : is administered at 6 months. Dose 2 is given after 4 weeks. It protects the baby from influenza virus which causes infection of the respiratory system. c) Oral Polio Vaccination is given between 6-9 months of age. d) Hepatitis B Vaccine : last dosage at 6 months : prevents liver disease caused by Hepatitis B virus.
