Q.

my baby is 5month old, she is having cold and cough. her medicine is going on. which is asthalin, atarax n nasal drop. from.today she is having cough and her voice is little change. pls help me with any alternative as her cold ia better but coughing very much.

A. same medical treatment to continue it is important to keep the child hydrated. anti cold medicines are not given without medical consultation what you can give now is nasal saline drops which is salt water and can be given again and again to decrease nasal blockage as well as cough and cold try to prevent temperature variations around the child and keep the child well covered. can give indirect steam inhalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

A. hi parent take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 u keep her well hydrated by giving her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour when she's awake (if shee mkre than six months)
