my baby is 55days old.can I use the gel for my baby vaccine .

A. you can go for thrombophob gel application after the vaccination when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hello dear parent! Gel is not required. If there is any discomfort in your baby after vaccination then consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Good luck and take care.
