my baby is 5 years old she have cold what kind of syrup can I give pls suggest me

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child.
For cold / running nose give syp allegra 5 ml twice daily to the child. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.
For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child
Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home remexdies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Sinarist you can give twice a day depending upon what is the current weight of your child as per age if I go it would be somewhere around 4.5 -5 ml one time but you have to check as per the current wait of your child
