Q.

my baby is 5 month she is on breast feed, i have periods today, does periods effect my milk supply.?? i need to breast feed her.

A. in case you are a breastfeeding mom then you can experience irregular periods or amenorrhea till one year..it has no effect on milk supply to use effective contraceptive methods for child spacing

A. sometimes the periods can cause a change in the taste of the milk but other than that I don't think it should cause a DIP in the milk supply if it does you can have some supplement for a couple of days
