my baby is 5 month old,was having cold and cough given treatment with tonics for 5 days.after prescribed dosage of medicine also still little cold and cough is there.when cold and cough will go off completely

It can take 3 to 5 days and in some cases it can take 7 to 10 days also depending upon the severity of the situation only the treatment is going to take its own time so you should give medicine for as long as your doctor has advised your child kindly consult your doctor again
