You should introduce top food after 6 months. You can begin with foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Continue to breastfeed.
ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist3 years agoA. Hello mom as per the age the baby can be introduced to weaning foods and currently you can start with liquid consistency food such as dal or rice water, vegetable soups or fresh juices.
Then as the baby gets used to it and accepts it well enough you can gradually move to semisolid and mashed consistency foods
