Q.
My baby is 5.5months old.She is having fever since morning. There is no other symptoms till now. Have given paracetamol drops..but the fever is coming 3hourly. kindly suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
it can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
weather higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p is required or not will be told by the doctoxr.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
important to avoid them if possible.
do body sponge to decrease the body temperature and give plenty xof fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration.
