my baby is 4months old he was suffering from cold , iam using vicks to control that ,give more suggestions for qure fastly

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only afterz medical consultation.
for fever and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being given to the child

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times.
