Q.

My baby is 4 yr 7m, she is having persistence khasi every night at around 3 Am. we have consulted pediatrician also for this problem and after giving nebulizer levolin and budacart to child khasi gone but after sometime days it started with same problem at night. Chest X- Ray is also normal and after giving warm water this problem gone. This process is continuos in nature in night only and that also gone after giving warm water to child. Please advise why this problem arises to my child. We have noticed that this problem started to our child after recovering from COVID 2 months back.

A. Sleep time coughing in babies may be due to sleep apnea or the Another reason for nighttime coughing and choking in babies is acreflux. keep offering warm water Or if it is associated with cold than it's requed a proper treatment.
