Q.

My baby is 4 months old. The hair on his scalp is falling out a lot. If we show it to the nearest doctor, they are telling us not to put oil on the baby's scalp. Is hair loss a cause for concern?

A. yes you should avoid putting oil into the scalp of the baby and also if it is cradle cap condition then you need to give a proper treatment by applying flutivate cream under the advice of your doctor

A. hi mam, usually it is normal for newborns to lose their hair during first 6 or 12 months age. it is called telogen effivlum. it happens because of Hormonal changes . so ,as such no need to worry. apply coconut oil daily on your child hair. it will help to promote healthy hair growth. give head bath with mild shampoo like Babyhug shampoo.
