Q.

my baby is 4 months and 23 days old, she is not passing urine in night ... she slept at 10:30 pm, I fed her at 2:30 am and again at 6 am... feeding duration is around 5 min only .... but she didn't pass urine since 10 pm last night... mostly she is not passing urine when sleeping throughout the night, she passes only after she woke also since 2 days she is making sounds ( struggling sounds/ mukkura) when passing urine is it a problem ? what can be done to make it normal ?

A. few babies have the tendency to withhold urine It's hard to comment upon without proper examination it would be better if you consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. Hello dear parent! Check the urine count during the rest of the time too. If it is low then increase the number of breastfeeds. Burp your baby after every feed. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your doctor for further advice
