Q.

my baby is 4 and half month old....her weight is only 4.8kg..when she was 2 and half month. her weight was 4.5kg.all of a sudden she didn't gain weight. Doctor told to feed her formula along with breastmilk.but she does take formula milk...Is my breastmilk not enough for her.

A. although ,if it not increase ,you can offer formula ,but as your child doesn't like it ,ask your pediatrician to change its flavore. it may help.

A. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight. usually they gain 500grams per month. and ideally ,4 months old baby should have weight between 5 to 8 kg. so your child weighs little bit less but don't worry. please keep Breastfeeding your child as per his or her needs. feed your child on each breast atleast 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well which helps to increase your child's weight. give massage to your child daily. maintain good hygiene.
