Q.
my baby is 4.5months old. she always sucks her fingers and i think she is experiencing teething pain. now my questiin is, is it always necessary to use teethers to sooth teething pain? does it have any side effect? what are the other options to sooth teething pain. Also can somebody suggest me a good teether to buy?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. it is not important to buy a teether for your child and with your clean fingers you can press the gums of the child which will help in decreasing the pain and you can also so give paracetamol if the child is very irritable due to pain
