Q.

my baby is 3month old..she does nt drink milk wenbshe is awake n drinks milk only wen she sleeps..till d tym she is awake she do only thumb sucking even if she is hungry fr 4 to 5hrs she does nt drink milk..wat to do in such a situatn...how to stop her habit of thumb suckng...plz help..m vry much tensd

A. here for proper comments is very difficult until and unless a proper examination is done to find out the exact cause so it would be better if you consult your doctor so that he can examine properly and thiian will guide you accordingly regarding this

A. hi thumb sucking is usually normal and soothing mechanism so as such no need to worry. to encourage your child for feeding ,try different feeding positions whenever your child sucking thumb ,try to distract your child by giving toys. or gently remove your child thumb from Mouth.
