my baby is 36 days old and his umbilical cord fell off after 1 week of Birth. The opening was getting closed and was drying off but since yesterday the belly button has opened a bit and looks like it has little puss. Can it be a infection or will it heal automatically? By when the belly button goes in the tummy. Please suggest.

A. generally there will be healing within 2-3 weeks if it is still looking some raw better to consult a Doctor to know whether it is infection or not o k
