A. most newborns startle or "jump" to sudden loud noises. by 3 months, a baby recognizes and calms to a parent's voice. by 6 months, babies turn theirx eyes or head toward a new sound and repeat sounds. if there is any confusion it is advisable to visit the doctor for thex same

A. That is because your child does not know you are calling the child because at this stage the child is not aware about its name also also when you really want your child to respond to a thing you have to teach your child that this is your name over the period and by calling your child with one formal name that you would want to use because when you use different names a child gets confused so use one name and by the time of 6 to 8 months you can expect a reaction from your child
