Q.

My baby is 3 months old. She looses alot of her hair. Also, she has got black scales sort of coming out from her scalp. I have heard that this is normal among babies. But in her case along with the scale, a chunk of her hair also comes along with it. Is this normal too? She was born with a decent amount of hair on her head, but offlate it's extremely scanty. Please do let me know if this is normal. TIA

A. hello mum this is called cradle cap which is very normal in the babies of this age so not worry you just keep on applying coconut oil on it let it be there for the whole night and then next day comb his hair with the soft brush if it still does not come out you can even apply Vaseline petroleum jelly
