Q.

My baby is 3 months old and weighs 4.8 kg. Her birth weight is 3.3 kg.She is active and wetting diapers 8-10 times a day and poops twice daily. but not gaining weight consistently. Is this normal?

A. normal urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour. the minimum requirxement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any other complaint.
