Q.

my baby is 3 month old and he is getting hair loss when taking head bath. is it common?

A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age. Cradle cap is also acf cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

A. Yes Yes it is absolutely normal don’t worry about it because these are both in Temporary here so a child loses it said in the beginning but once you get it cleared once you get the scalp shaved off it is going to be definitely better in In general it is going to be permanent also
