They have a strong need to suck, and love to be held close. Breast milk is digested faster , so nursing babies tend to eat more often. Cluster feeding for long hours not unusual.

Absolutely no need because your child has gained 1800 g in two months which is approximately 900 g in a month which is exceptionally healthy weight gain that your child is having no need to go ahead with giving any formula feeding when a mother has sufficient and healthy feeding mother should stick to that for at least six months to 1 year easily
Ayshath ansifa mMom of a 2 yr 6 m old child2 years agoA. Hello dear . I also have low milk supply , especially at night . I give her formula milk 2 times at night when she keeps crying even after breast feeding her . It helps a lot n she sleeps calmly.
As for the weight, the baby should weigh double the birth weight at 3 month old . If she is having poor weight gain then i suggest you to consult a doctor
