Q.

My baby is 27 days old and right after her discharged from the hospital she has been having nose blockage. It is very uncomfortable for her breathing and that makes her cries a lot. We have visited 2 different pediatrician and both of them have given her Nasal drops, Sinarest - s and Nasivion - s but both the drops doesn't helps her in any way. Kindly advice.

A. Was the blockage there when the baby was born? Sometimes there could be any growth or blockade due to bony structures and most of the time it will be diagnosed late but it is also very rare. Try giving indirect steam in halation as that will give a lot of reliefWrite Your Answer Here

A. Hello, your baby girl is newborn just 27 days old and she is having her nose blocked so give her indrect steam inhalation and nasoclear nasal drops two times a day

A. this is common in some babies you can give frequently steam inhalation for D condition and put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby 4 to 5 times a day

A. But Nasal drops are the only option that you can be giving to the child you can put 3 to 4 times in a day and also you can put on a steamer in the room for 10 minutes that’s going to help and keep your child’s head a little elevated specially stard pillow because in the elevated position also it is easier for a child to breathe
