Q.
my baby is 20 months old...doc earlier he speaks mama, papa ,dada etc. now he don't speak any of these words or any new word...I m stressed is there any speech problem??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with tvhe child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech dgoes not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

U Along with this behaviour see is your child responding to the name when you are calling your child what is your child making an eye contact while talking of all these things are in place then it could be just a simple speech delay but if your child is not doing either of the things that you have to consult a child psychologist ones
