Q.

My baby is 20 days old. My breast milk supply is low, so we are feeding lactogen simultaneously. I am using breastpump also to get expressed milk whenever I feel heavy, but it is not enough to fill my baby's stomach. And then I feed him Lactogen. My question is whether we can mix expressed milk with lactogen milk and feed it to the baby or not? Will it cause any problem or is it okay to feed it this way?

A. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be hhuelpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which mray be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .
