Q.
My baby is 20 days old and she is having cold. Give me some homemade remedies?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
vtif any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose cayn be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

It would be good that you can nebulise your child with saline water that is going to be helpful in reducing down the nasal blockage and also also there is any congestion will help you move with that further I would recommend you to consult your doctor for proper medicines to use
