Q.

My baby is 2 yo now. we vaccinated varicella vaccine on 1.1.22. my doctor suggested to vaccine the booster of the same on 17.8.22. In our vaccine chart, the due for the said vaccine is given on 4th year. is it ok to vaccine now? kindly guide

A. you had to take both booster doses around 15 months and 4 years for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management

A. As mentioned earlier, delay in vaccination is manageable. Having said that, it is important to administer deferred doses as soon as it is feasible. Missed vaccination puts the child at risk of contracting the disease the vaccine was meant to protect against.
