Q.
My baby is 2 years and 7 months old, he is very much active but he can't speak fluently normal words as others childs and also he was not respond every time when he called by his name. What can we do?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. this is normal for the baby baby will speak fluently as they will grow no need to worry for this you can be more talkative with the baby and we play full with the learning games

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning this is how it starts By 9months to 1yeat they just say mama, papa. By 15 months will understand whatever we say and will observe more. By 18 months they speak few meaningful words amma appa papa mamma thattha.. After two years they make combinations of words like amma give, amma take, appa go, mama come.. Later they make sentences. It will take time for them to speak complete full sentences. Just keep talking more to your kid. Try contact speech therapist for further help
