ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear ma’am, is the baby on breastfeeding? If yes then how frequently do you breastfeed and how long does the baby feed at breast? Do you Offer one breast for one feed or both the breasts? How many times your baby passes urine in 24 hours?
Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 7 m old girl4 years agoA. yes I m breastfeeding her exclusively every 2 -3 hours for 15 to 45 mins depending on baby's demand. I feed her from one breast at each feeding and switch to another breast at another feeding session. have consulted three doctors already.blood test , urine test, usg everything done. all ok.now m only left with wait and watch option. m worried about my baby's slow rate of weight gain.can this affect her physical and mental growth.?

babies weight gain depends on their birth weight
usually they gain 250 to 500g per month
so don't worry
feed your child on demand
feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well which help to increase your child weight
give Massage to your child daily
maintain good hygiene
