my baby is 2 month old he is trying to pass stool but not able to do so?

A. it is ok for the baby. During infancy the baby may not motion on daily basis. It may be alternate day or may be up to 7 days . Glycerine suppository may be used for the lubrication if baby not passing motion .

A. Breastfed babies, especially if they have not started solid foods, can easily go two weeks without a poopy diaper once they are 2-3 months old. Breastmilk is exactly what your baby needs, and so there is little waste product left for the baby to poop out. Exclusively breastfed babies are almost never constipated.
